Yes. The website shows a few ads, and that keeps the tools free. There are no ads inside your invoices or documents, ever.

Yes. Install Google Drive for desktop and pick a folder inside it. Drive backs it up and keeps it in sync across your computers.
Chrome and Edge on Mac and Windows can use a folder. Safari and Firefox can still try everything, saving inside the browser.
Share the folder through Google Drive and everyone sees the same clients and invoices. Team Mode is on the workbench.
